Roosevelt Lake - Weekly Fishing Report
August 21, 2010         Professional fishing guide Frank Powell
Bass: The best time to catch bass is evening and early morning. Try 7 to 10 inch Power Worms rigged on a shaky head or Texas style. Drop shot Robo Worms are also working well at a depth of 35'.
Crappie: Try fishing around the marina with minnows at night using a crappie light.
Catfish: Channel cats are being caught in the Salt River on night crawlers near the diversion dam. Flatheads are being caught above School House Point on waterdogs and bluegill in the river channel.
The lake level is now at 95%. Check SRP website www.srp.net for current water levels on all ramps. ARIZONA GAME AND FISH HAS REMOVED THE SLOT LIMIT FROM ROOSEVELT LAKE.
